The Breakers Resort in Myrtle Beach has been a premier destination for visitors for more than 70 years. But even the most time-tested and impressive resort can benefit from updates and renovations when the time comes.
In 2016-2017, we completed work on The Breakers' on-site dining establishment, Papa's Restaurant. Papa's was previously a traditional breakfast restaurant, featuring beach themes and wood paneling in the dining area and uniform, muted decor in the buffet serving space. Though the previous vision for the restaurant worked in the past, we were thrilled to partner with The Breakers to provide Papa's with a modern, industrial, and eclectic update.
Where previously drab white walls surrounded the breakfast buffet space, the new renovations utilize bold accent colors combined with interesting patterns and textures to enhance the visual interest of the entire space and create a truly unique and exciting dining experience for guests.
By the end of this project, we were able to transform an outdated restaurant into a more visually-pleasing, modern dining space, while also making enough room for the new construction and design of The Breakers' on-site bar, Strong Waters.
